Jason beat me by a second. The RMA inverters will ship with an adapter cable
that allows the IQ microinverters to plug into the old cabling system and talk
to the legacy L-N Envoy. Let me know if you didn't receive the adapter cable.

Hello Wrenches,

We received IQ7 inverters from Enphase as RMA replacements for failed legacy
(M175 and M190) inverters. I understand the IQ7 PLC is line to line, and the
legacy INV PLC is line to neutral. Have any of you successfully gotten a
circuit with a mixture of IQ7 and legacy INV to communicate?

This is a large project and shuffling old INV in order to make separate
circuits with only IQ7 and only legacy INV will be difficult and expensive. It
appears that Enphase is telling us we need to do that (is that correct Nick
S.?) but I am trying to see if any of you have successfully mixed on the same
circuit, and anything you may have had to do to make the communication work.
There are some older threads about installing ferrite loops to reduce noise,
but I haven't found anything specifically about mixed circuits.

Thanks,
-Nathan
