I've got some old systems running the QO breakers at 48 v nominal, but the Voc of the array could be over 80.  Never an issue, but I agree just swap out that load center, since its that old.  Midnite has good stuff.  If you're just running to a an FM80 or similar with 150 v limit, their regular breakers are 150 vdc rated. I only use the 300 v rated breakers with the new FM 100 that can take 300 vdc.

Hi Jeremy,

According to the QO cut sheet the answer is 48VDC:

My guess is that your string voltage would be much greater than that. Not sure your exact application, but for the slight added cost, I would definitely suggest using a reputable NEMA3R combiner/disco with 300VDC breakers and throwing away the ancient load center.

    Hello
Does anyone have a definitive answer to the DC rating of the QO
circuit breakers?   I’ve got a potential client with an existing
AC load center (>20 yrs) being used for his array combiner.
He’s looking to add to the array, with modules that are higher
    voltage of course.
    Thanks in advance.
