Yep same here the ubiquitous CH361 and a midnite SPD and a Delta. I very rarely need more than 2 strings so fuses and not used. I would never want 600v floating around in any enclosure with other electrical code or not! I know grid -tie does this all the time but not for offgrid. IMHO.
There are a few other choices I have had to use I can dig up if needed. PM me.
