Although Enphase recommends against it I believe (mixing generations at this time), in theory you need one ACCP, two Envoys (one of each type), and you can aggregate into a single portal system (just add the second Envoy to the activation). I think the mixing of systems is not recommended due to potential communication interference.

I wanted to avoid the whole IQ issue and let someone else be the guinea pig, so let us know what results you have! :) We are about to have hundreds of homes with a mix of some with M series and some with IQ series in very close proximity. This should be interesting! But I don't expect any major issues home to home. The first IQ systems are not showing any issues yet.
