We have a few of the Array Tech Wattsun AZ225 trackers here around Truckee, CA and like them for this very reason, that there is a manual override, being able to also lower the tracker to a table top position with the leading edge slightly down into the high wind events we occasionally have, 100 mph +. Our clients appreciate this option! Going vertical in deep snow mode is a second benefit.

You can lock the Array Technologies tracker to a very steep angle for the winter. I have several older clients on tracker that have me lock up the N/S angle for the winter so the tracker sheds snow without their labor. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dana Orzel Great Solar Works, Inc - NABCEP # 051112-136 E - d...@solarwork.com - Web - solarwork.com O - 970.626.5253 C - 208.721.7003 "Responsible Technologies for Responsible People since 1988" P Please consider the environment before printing this email. -----Original Message----- From: RE-wrenches [mailto:re-wrenches-boun...@lists.re-wrenches.org] On Behalf Of SunHarvest Sent: Saturday, October 03, 2015 9:49 AM To: RE-wrenches Subject: [RE-wrenches] PV Tracker - Best available? Given 310# snow load in the Sierras, what are some suggestions for a superior pole-mounted tracking system? Right now I'm considering DHSolar, but I'm unfamiliar with the product.
