I used to use bromine, but it irritated my skin. I switched to a product called
Clearwater Blue. Its active ingredient is copper sulphate. I add a cap full
every week. It keeps the water clear for a couple of months and is gentle on
skin. Highly recommend it. Available from Spa Depot.
