Kurt,

You definitely need the dedicated branch circuit protection. Beyond that, it's up to your local AHJ. Same for the labeling. Of course, NEC 690.54 and 690.56B do require a label at the point of interconnection.

See Ya!

The NEC provides for, and the AHJs have accepted the use of the connectors as a form of disconnect. Of course, each branch is also connected to a dedicated branch overcurrent device (circuit breaker).

On the DC side, since only one module is connected to each inverter, the connectors also serve as a means of disconnect. The DC wiring does not enter the building, so a separate DC disconnect is not required.

Right, no problems foreseen there.

What specific questions do you have about labeling?

Five small arrays, each on a different structure, feeding one production meter (located on one of the structures or perhaps on a separate outbuilding.) Do I put a small breaker/disconnect (I'm thinking a 2-space 3R panel) on each structure and label (how)?

thanks...
