Kurt,

The NEC provides for, and the AHJs have accepted the use of the connectors as a form of disconnect. Of course, each branch is also connected to a dedicated branch overcurrent device (circuit breaker).

On the DC side, since only one module is connected to each inverter, the connectors also serve as a means of disconnect. The DC wiring does not enter the building, so a separate DC disconnect is not required.

What specific questions do you have about labeling?

See Ya!

We are looking at a project which has several small cottages on the property. Each might have suitable roof area for ~1 kW or so of PV. Each building has its own service, but we want to avoid installing multiple production meters, feeding the PV to a single aggregation & metering point on one of the structures. Enphase inverters look like a good fit for this, but I am curious about disconnects & labeling. Has anyone done a job like this?
