Mike, If they are not in conduit (a raceway), then they are exposed. They may not be and must not be subject to physical damage (protected by the modules, etc.), but that does not mean they are not exposed and must have the USE-2 / PV rating. If these conductors are run outside of conduit on the array, you need USE-2 or PV conductor. Which I am happy to help him out with training his other inspectors We are running into an issue on the module output wires. USE-2 or PV rated is how the code book reads. The wire we have been using on these systems is DLO (diesel locomotive) which carries the ratings of RHH and RHW-2, which seems to cross with the USE-2. Does anyone have any documentation showing this cross? If not, I guess I will be switching the wire to USE-2/RHW-2 because it needs to go into conduit. Mike [EMAIL PROTECTED]
