Greg - I wouldn't have gone through this if I didn't know RDKit was worth it (been using it for a few months now - it is awesome)...
What I love about this toolkit is that it is strict - and will fail with a sensible error unlike other tools which will try to be clever in ways you don't want them to. How many people work on RDKit? I am curious.
