Of course any Shimano brifter will work with your Shimano derailer and 
cassette. By any brifter, I mean compatible with the number of cogs you are 
running. Also Campy brifters will work with a jtek 
shiftmate<http://jtekengineering.com/shiftmate.php>. 
Or a 10speed Campy brifter will work with an 8 cog Shimano cassette, and an 
11 speed Campy brifter will work with 9 cog Shimano cassette.
