If you two are that different in height, your bike may be too much reach for her to be comfortable, even with the seat lowered. A local Riv rider with a bike that's a better fit is ideal as that person is a "dis-interested third party" (hardy-har-har) who can vouch for the joys of the ride. The "brother in SF" deserves a visit, no?
