Haven't been riding for two weeks because the roads around me are overkill winter salted, and no rain these days to wash them clean. More snow tomorrow and at the end of the week. Looks like no riding at least til next week sometime, if rain comes through to wash it all away.
My Sam and Bleriot sit quietly. I am chomping at the bit. Now's when I need a beater to ride around on. The roads are really trashed this year. Worse than I have ever seen around here. There is so much salt that my car tires spin on it as I accelerate away from stops. The kicker is that it is so un-normally cold this winter that whenever precipitation comes through the area (which would normally be rain) it is, instead, snow and then they salt the roads even more!!!!! I am ready for warmer climes myself, but Mrs. Leven likes the 4 seasons. Well.....at least its only 27 more days 'til March!
