All that the "casing" is on gumwall, non-puncture protected Panaracer tires is just a web of strands, embedded in rubber? Topped off with a black tread?
I have seen coronal views of tires with a puncture proof casing that looks solid, that wraps around both beads like a blanket, with the tread on top. Like the Schwalbes and Conti Gatorskins have.
