Steve I was merely smart-assing at Jim Thill. He stated above that the Atlantis and the Long Haul Trucker are made by the same nice Taiwanese people. I know that it's not true and I know that he knows that is not true. It was either a typo, or he meant to limit that part of his comment just about the Hillborne, or was just being rhetorical. He exaggerated the price differences, too.
I know that his point was not to be accurate. His point was that he can't rationalize buying a Rivendell frame, when an Surly is just as good (to him).
