Dearest Bill,

This is rough.  You have a lot to deal with.   The pain never really goes 
to zero.  Only *asymptomatic * to zero.  Those of us who have experienced 
the final loss of both parents feel tis keenly. 

Restoring this bicycle sounds like a really good thing to do.  

Do allow yourself the mourning.  It is part of the process and you need to 
let it take its measure.
