Are you thinking 15th and Camino Del Mar, South to Carmel Valley Road, East to Sorrento Valley Road, South to Sorrento Valley Blvd, East to Penasquitos? The initial stretch on Sorrento Valley Road is bikes and pedestrians only with the lagoon to the West side. There is a Performance Bicycle Store in the midst of Sorrento Valley in case anyone needs bike stuff in a pinch. I like the ride West through bucolic RSF, but have an alternative for those that like dirt. On the way West, Black Mountain Road and Carmel Valley Road West on Carmel Valley Road to Rancho Santa Fe Farms Road, North on Rancho Santa Fe Farms Road to the Gonzales Canyon entrance, West through Gonzales Canyon to Old El Camino Real.
