Hugh: I'll see if I can figure out when I last did this. We rode the loop down to Pine Valley on one day, encountering snow around Mt Laguna. The next day we rode down to Anza Borrego for a couple of days. Mid-day was too hot to ride, & we got an early start to beat the heat when returning to Julian. Wonderful study in contrasts.
