Hi Nancy, The Soma Xpress is my daily commuter tire on my AHH. It's not as wide and cushy as the Pari-Moto, but I've had no punctures on my commutes.
The Xpress tires don't remove as much of the road "buzz" compared to Pari-Moto/Grand Bois tires, but does not feel in any way sluggish to me. I use the Xpress mostly for the theoretical advantage for reducing flats with a strip, but I flat infrequently enough so I'm convinced that flats are mostly due to luck or (unluck :). I never flatted the Pari-Moto (most flat prone) in ~600 miles (before switching to Xpress). I flatted Xpress tires in my first 3 miles (couldn't find what caused it--probably a thorn, slow leak) (but have not punctured in hundreds of miles since then) I flatted my Hetres on my first 20 mile ride--metal wire--bad luck I've not flatted my Cypres in several hundred miles, but flatted my Schwalbe Kojaks within my first 20 miles (again a metal wire) (Kojak's have a flat resistant strip :).
