I used the Pari-Moto, but not all black. My impression was the all black
have even less tread than the black with brown sidewalls, but I may be
wrong.

All of these wide and lower pressure tires should handle fire roads fine,
but Pari-Moto tires and the Grand Bois ones in general don't have very
strong sidewalls, so I would be careful about sidewall cuts from rocks on
trails.

I personally would go with Soma B-Line or Soma Xpress tires because they
seem to be a bit more sturdy and would handle the occasional off-road use
much better in my opinion. However, I don't know if they come in all
black. The actual width of the Soma Xpress is less than the Pari-Moto.

If I were all road, then I would go with the Pari-Moto, Lierre or Hetre if
you can handle the width (probably no problem if you don't have fenders).
The Pari-Moto is more of an event tire in that it would be the first to
wear out tread-wise...

Good luck,
Toshi
