Have you tried to remove the fitting on the pump that fits over the valve stem? Some pumps have rubber O-rings that surround the valve stem to seal it different ones for different valves. If there is one on this pump I'd see if it comes out and try to put a presto valve in, if it leaks air around pump fitting with out the O-ring then i'd either try shaving some out of the center of the ring to make it fit or hard to a hardware store to find something that fits.
