Got out for a few hours riding with Andy and Tommy. We rode through Forest Park on dirt roads up to Skyline Blvd. It was nice to catch up as we rode as I hadn't ridden with either of these guys since the Wasco County Ramble in April. After we got to Skyline we dropped down into Washington County. The descent down Springville Rd was great. From there we rode over to and up Old Germantown Road which climbs back up to Skyline and feels more like a bike path than a road. As we climbed it began to rain. Fortunately it wasn't too cold and the rain actually felt good. Once back up to Skyline Blvd we dropped down Germantown Rd. This is a bomber descent with the rain making it all the more treacherous. After riding across the St Johns Bridge we stopped by "Rivendell Ridge" to take pictures of the bikes.
It felt great to get out with these guys and we talked about future rides. Oh, and it was Tommy's birthday! Pictures proved that it rained in Portland in Aug (probably because Andy's bike doesn't have fenders). http://www.flickr.com/photos/41335973@N00/sets/72157635236299766/with/9593455555/ --mike -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
