Another similar but different idea... Bridal Veil Lodge<http://www.bridalveillodge.com>in the Columbia Gorge. Once upon a time they had a campground, but now it's only indoor lodging. I spoke to them last year and they said they've talked about opening up for camping but haven't gotten the ball rolling. I could call and float the group lodging + camping idea there.
