What a wonderful thing to do Deacon. My only advice is to relax, enjoy, and be prepared to have your daughter surprise and teach you.
I am remembering a similar trip, when, if memory serves me right, my son was between 13 & 14. He was already an avid cyclist and racer. We took off on an 80 mile trip over the top of Whiteface Mt to join a family gathering for my mothers 80th birthday. (1985). Whiteface Mt includes 4 miles of absolutely unrelenting 12-14% grade without any shade. About 3/4 of the way up, he came riding down to ask if I was OK. My ego has been on a strict testosterone diet ever since. Still, by the time we got to camp, he needed my encouragement to keep going. Fathering doesn't end, it just gets more long distant.
