Agree. What made CK's reputation was it was one of the first to use and probably more importantly *market* angular cartridge contact bearings. I know when I bought my Calfee back in 1997, there was only CK and Cane Creek who offered this option. Neither Campy, which was my first choice, nor Shimano which also had angular cartridge bearings, made a threadless at that time. The CK was about $100 and the CC was $80. I bought the CK and never looked back. Further, CK was one of the first to offer anodized colors and you could make your headset have multiple colors too! This was all the rage back in the 90s when anodized cnc parts were in fashion. That it is made in the US is the icing on the cake! Good Luck!
