Looks like we've got an event! Now, a key driver of location:

Camping? Morro Bay SP is adjacent to town with all the attendant
services. San Simeon SP is a couple of miles north of San Simeon & several
miles north of Cambria. Oceano Dunes is adjacent to Pismo & Arroyo Grande,
about 10 miles south of SLO. Area has a mix of lodging as well.

Lodging? SLO is a natural, with tons of places. Cambria is right on the
coast BUT you have to snag a decent rate catch a deal well in advance or
take your chances on "day of". Moro Bay also has lodging so if it's a mix
of campers & lodgers that may be preferable.

Personally I favor camping within walking distance of a restaurant (not
being much of a cook). What do others prefer?
