I thought it would be a controversial development, but only got one response and it was the opposite of my expectations: Good Riddance. This customer has been trying for years to opt-out of his rebate. He didn't want it when we first rolled it out and would remind us when our not-clued-in staff would tell him he's got a credit. "Keep it!" he'd say. Finally, it's working for him. We have great customers. Thanks for sticking it out so long Richard! But we still want to reward customers with something tantalizing, exciting to think about, keep you coming back... so it's raffle time. If you remember, in December we did a raffle for a Custom frame. It generated some good conversations on the owners bunch, drummed up some sales, and made one customer very happy. Maybe she never would have sprung for a custom, and that's nice to think about. We'll do the Custom again in December, but will do a similar one now and at least one more before the holidays. This time for a Sam or Betty frameset. They will be coming in over the next few months, and you can have a chance to win one: Place an eligible order over $200 between now and June 1st for a chance to win a Betty or Sam frame. Let's say we have our best May on record and get 1500 orders and maybe half are over $200. That's pretty good odds. By eligible we just mean the obvious stuff: paid in full don't use a gift card unless you still put in $200 cash $200 limit is before tax and shipping but after discounts anything else that's fair and obvious that we're forgetting void if you return or cancel the order for new orders only, sorry backorder folks, you'll have to buy something else starts now, ends June 1 midnight PST.
