The what glue + how to get cork grips off Qs came up recently in another 
thread. 

Glue: Permatex "Form A Gasket #1" available at auto parts stores. Related Riv

To remove: hold the grip firmly w/ both hands and twist. It takes some 
effort to break the seal, but once it's broken the grip slides right off 
and the glue chips off with a plastic scraper.
