I visit and use this group like an internet forum and have never used the e-mail function. If the majority of the people access this group via e-mail (something that never even crossed my mind as an option), then I guess it's a good way to go. I'm just used to manually visiting a forum and scrolling thru topics so that's the bias thru which I view Google groups. Heck, maybe e-mail access is what defines an Internet "group". I've never been part of one before.
