I was just looking through some Readers from right at the beginning, because a post on this forum made me curious enough to look back. You could say the original frames were stock and made at Waterford, since there were published geometry charts. But the fact I had forgotten and saw a few days ago was where it said, you could ask for custom changes to the geometry for a $200 upcharge (as long as Rivendell approved of the change.) I wonder in the early frames how often the original geometry charts were adhered to.

I meant W'ford didn't built stock/production bikes till recently. The original Rivendell semi-customs were all made in Wisconsin :-)
