Actually, the Maxy Fasty and Nifty Swifty were the original tire to use this combination of width and tread pattern (same tread as the Rolly Polly/Ruffy Tuffy, but wider) , dating back to when first rolled out their 650b tire line (2006?). They rode so nice, Riv thought, "Hey, we should make these in 700c" and thus was born the Jack Brown Green/Blue.
