I had the same problem with a Foss tube - tried several times to find the hole with a water bath and no luck but when it was mounted and fully inflated I noticed that the leak was at the base of the stem- could hear it when the stem was deflected but it did not show up in the water bath under moderate inflation - very frustrating.
