This is a great idea and I can vouch that it works well. I also used a 
Nitto assembly to attach the light to the gf's Homer's Mark's rack (three 
apostrophes in a row!). I used a bit of SS stock instead of a Gino's Mount 
but the outcome is similar.

I didn't think to use a washer because I'm a hack, but it's been over a 
year now and I just checked it—it's still rock solid.
