I agree Grant may be a bit conservative but a Hunq is a fantastic bike. I'm on the heavier side myself (250 and hopefully dropping a bit) and have both a 62cm Hunq and a 66cm Quickbeam. I've had no trouble at all with the QB. I've even gone camping with way too much stuff on the QB without issue. However I have to say that when loaded down I'm a lot more confident on the Hunq.
I've got 35mm tires on the QB and 38mm tires on the Hunq (standard build kit Schwalbe Marathons). I'm going to leave the QB where it is tire-wise but when I do finally wear out the 38's on the Hunq I'll probably move to 50mm - I just love air. Keep in mind that biking is great for general health and your heart and can be part of weight loss but it's not a magic bullet. I dropped 50lbs or so when I took up biking then leveled out above where I'd like to be. The rest will have to be done the painful way...no pastries on Sunday morning rides and such. Sigh.
