You can't go wrong following Grant's recommendation, but I do think he 
is very conservative when it comes to judging weight limits for Riv 
frames. If you're 350 and want to get to 250, get a Hunq. If you're 250 and 
want to get to 150, get a Betty. I weigh 230 and ride a Legolas, which is 
one of Riv's lightest bikes. No breakage issues yet.

Again, the strength of a Riv is its flexibility. But if you weigh 350, 
you'll want a bike that takes wider than 35mm tires. If you're less, 35mm 
tires may be cushy enough for you.
