Bravo. I tried clipless when it was new - did not like it. Few years back tried again to see how advances in technology might change my feelings. Still don't like it. Cannot begin to count how many total strangers have wondered when I am going to get with clipless. And heck, my bikes have Campy Super Record, MKS Kierin and White Industry platform pedals respectively. One would think even the most casual cyclists would be aware that I have put a lot of thought (and $) into my pedal choices.
