Velocity was having trouble keeping quality consistent in Australia but have since moved production to the United States. Believe the U.S. made versions will be hitting the stores next year. Apparently I have been real lucky as the three Velocity rim wheelsets I have, one made by Peter White, one Rich Lesnick and one by my LBS are exceptionally durable.
