Yes indeed! I'm a native Californian, transplanted to Maryland long ago but still have family and roots there. I have fond memories of the Airplane, although I can't recall that I made it to any of their concerts. Did see the Dead, Hendrix, and many other great bands in that era. Have many fond memories of places like the Sound Factory in Sacramento and other unlikely venues. My sister-in-law, Roberta Donnay, is a jazz singer in the Bay Area and also sings with Dan Hicks if anyone here is a fan of his. Cheers, Steve
