You can adjust the spring tension of each arm. 4. You can adjust the pads. They can be tricky for a novice to get aligned correctly, based on my experience, which is non with brakes, except these. I am under the impression that side pulls are easier, but don't know that for a fact. The people at Paiul seem to be friendly. I think they should have a better explanation on the instructions on how to adjust their brakes, and use the spring tension adjustment.
