I have the braze-on version of the Paul racers. Best brakes I've used, although I'm not a huge fan of how they look. You might inquire about any differences between the braze-on vs. center-mount version - I haven't seen much chatter about that although conventional wisdom probably says that the braze-on version are a little more powerful.
