Ya know, I shouldn't generalize based on too little information. I accept
what Reid has said and apologize. I had two 59 Romulus bikes but I don't
know what other sizes were made. I had thought there was a 57 but maybe
not. I was just kind of assuming that Rambouillets were even sizes 54 (my
wife has one), 56, 58, etc. and that Romulus bikes came in odd sizes but I
could be mistaken. Maybe some Romulus bikes came in even sizes. I guess I
spoke too soon.

In any case though, I don't think there was a 60 with a caliper brake - the
one shown in the pictures in the link, which seller claims is a 60, has
caliper brakes. Also, I had kind of ruled out the later, unexpected run of
cantilever Roms because they were not sold as complete bikes - it was frame
and fork ($1300, as I recall) plus whatever you want on it. Ruled them
out because there was no complete bike price to compare to what this seller
is asking and that is not what he is selling.

Wonderful bike. Light touring, fair-weather commuting, all day adventure
and group rides.
