Also, the Romulus with caliper brakes was only available for one year in 2003. Since 61cm is not an unusually large size, my guess is that Rivendell didn't have one lying around to sell in 2007. Of course, time is hard to judge for us humans, so when he says he bought it 5 years ago, maybe he meant he bought it 9 years ago.
