Ok. So it looks as though it may be time to get a little crafty. I think I can manage to dremmel out a notch...i'll have to take a look and see I'll have enough space to solve the issue. andy - my issue looks more similar to what you were facing, so I have some hope. Stephen - I thought wrapping the stays with some celest bar tape I had, I actually tried it and I just didn't feel comfortable ratcheting that bolt down tight enough for the kickstand to hold firm.
