Just a quick update. I finally saved up enough money to buy new tires (my priority has been funding a wheel from Rich Lesnik) and I went with the Vittoria Randonneur Hypers in 32mm. I have to say I am thrilled with the purchase!! The Vittorias are so much faster, cushier and they handle so much better than the Armadillos I've been riding. I know I will now ride more often and for longer periods of times. The tires really do make a difference! This has actually been a revelation for me and I plan to try other tires. Thanks for the heads up on these, Bill!
