Glad to know that there are Riv owners out there in NYC. I'm in the Financial District. My wife and I just got our Sam Hillborne and Betty Foy at the end of last summer. The only other Rivendell owner I know is a buddy of mine at UWS. He was the one who introduced me to Rivendell and biking in general.
I've once seen an orange Quickbeam with front rack and a nice saddle bag locked up in Chinatown (Mott St.?). Unfortunately, I didn't see the owner.
