Hmmm... I had to dig up my 2011 goals, and to my surprise I actually
hit a few:

- Hosting Riv Rally East, May 6-8 in Wellsboro PA - DONE
- Renaissancing his and hers Gazelle Sport Luxe bicycles, converting
from single speed coaster to 3 speed drum-brake. Hers DONE, His
ALMOST DONE
- Renaissancing (with period parts) an early 1983 (Tim Neenan)
StumpJumper - DONE (and donated to a good friend in Healdsburg CA)
- Resurrecting a dormant, once-renaissanced 1985 Rockhopper - DONE
- Converting my 1986 Nishiki Prestige SS to both a 2-speed version and
a fully-geared version... Fully geared DONE, 2-speed still working on

There were a few other windfall goals:
- Rode my Bomba in the NYC 5-Boro Tour
- Did an awesome 4-day credit card tour of Cape Cod and Martha's
Vineyard
- Built up and sold a few bikes
- Built up a killer touring bike (from an old Schwinn Cimarron)
- Laced up half a dozen wheels
- Built up a truly awesome steel rigid 29er MTB
- Renaissanced (and sold) a really cool Argentinian racer/SS/fixie
- I finally scored my long-awaited BMW motorcycle (hey, that's bike-
related, right???)

2012 Modest Goals
- At least 2 S24O rides
- Host Riv Rally East 2012 (New England??)
- Do a multi-day credit card tour ride on the Great Allegheny Passage
Trail in PA (hopefully via Amtrak roll-on/roll-off bike service on the
Capitol Limited train)
- Sell a few more bikes (reduce the herd)
- Finish up Gazelle project and Nishiki 2-speed
- Get my son (and daughter) off to college, sell house, move, and
establish new bike workshop/man cave!!! (that's a BIGGIE)

Happy 2012 to all.
