Jim,

One reason Foss stresses mounting the tube when totally deflated is
they stretch very little. When I initially installed a pair on a (non
Riv) bike, one had some air in and was basically impossible to seat on
the rim.

BTW, the Foss tubes get even less pliable when cold. After struggling
to re-install them on the same bike with studded tires, finally gave
up and went to conventional tubes. Might try them again next spring.

Already have formed some opinions of them as they were on for a few
hundred miles. But plan to wait and see what others say before
commenting. Don't want to bias folks one way or another.
