An unsolicited puff: The short bill, ear-flapp'd, woolen caps are the bees'
pyjamas. Just got myself one and it's nicer than my Caroline Plaquette
custom woolen earflap cap. Cheaper, too.

Speaking of wind vests: is there anything like a cycling wind dickey that
you can simply shove under your jersey like a newspaper, but reusable? I
should think a good one would be a bit stiffish to make said shoving
easier, but not too stiff so that it can fold nicely into a small bundle
for a rear pocket.

Ideas for design, material? I would think that it would need no attachment
hardware and that it ought to be something other than plastic so that it
wouldn't feel icky (tech term) against bare skin.

I rode today in blustery mid 40s with just a Wabi jersey, but could have
used such a newspaper substitute at times.
