The commonalities are really wonderful. Had a 1977 RD400 (fun, crazy moto!) that, along with my old Motobecane Grand touring, was my main transport for years. Then rescued and rebuilt a 1975 CB750. After kids, sold the motos but kept cycling. However, 2 summers ago bought a used scooter - SYM HD200. I miss the motos, but this scooter makes me laugh almost every time I ride it, it's such a different experience I call it my George Jetson transporter.
Scooter has become my go-to commute on days when time is at a premium.
