I have a PBH of 84.5 (5' 10" 165) and a 56 Sam. My Sam is a great bike. I rode the 52 and it felt a little small. I am mostly riding on road although I have had the Sam on a few fire trails and it is great.
There was some debate at Riv HQ about sizing as 84 -85 is the tipping point between the two sizes. If you are set on 700 tires then you want the 56. If you want 650B and more standover then 52. In my case bigger felt better. Dan On Sep 23, 10:04 am, Peter M <uscpeter11...@gmail.com> wrote: > Need someone who owns a HIllborne who can tell me what the real > standover is on the 56cm.
